Leadership and Coaching for English Coordinators

Course Overview
A 20-hour course aimed at providing English coordinators practical ideas and useful tools for the improvement of their performance as coordinators. Both recently appointed and experienced coordinators will find helpful insights into time management, staff administration, communication, coordinators' different roles, teamwork development and goal setting.
Main aim
At the end of this course, participants will have acquired basic leadership knowledge, will have developed the required skills and will enhance their attitude to motivate their teaching staff by coaching and improving their communication channels. At the same time participants will be able to increase their productivity by learning how to make better use of their time. Finally participants will analyze some of the reasons why teaching staff behave in different ways and how to lead them in order to achieve excellent results for the school.
Course content
- Leadership and Teacher's Role: How to become a leader after being a teacher for a while.
- Practical tools to guide and motivate teachers: What do I have to tell my teachers to motivate them?
- Coordinator/Leader's attitude in the work environment: Are the school's values and my own the same?
- Coaching: What does it have to do with my job?
- Communication and Teamwork: How can I turn my staff into a productive and efficient team?
Cost
Per participant: $3,500.00 MN + VAT
