Entry requirements
Candidates must be at least 20 years old at the start of the course. They must have a standard of education which would allow entrance to higher education in their country. They must have an awareness of language, and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables them to follow the course. They must also have the potential to develop into effective teachers.
Enrolment procedure
Applicants for the course must complete an application form and a pre interview task and send it to International House Barcelona. We will then set up an interview. You will be interviewed by an International House Barcelona teacher trainer. If you are not in Barcelona we will ask you to telephone us at a pre-arranged time.
To secure a place once you have been accepted you should ensure that the full fee is paid at least six weeks before the course begins. Applicants applying less than six weeks before the course are required to pay the fees on acceptance. See payment details.

Methodology You are also advised to have access to a methodology book, such as:

- Learning Teaching, by Jim Scrivener (Heinemann)
